The grandmother of this lovely little two-year old girl commissioned me to paint this 6″ x 6″ portraiture oil painting on canvas. It has always surprised me just how many portrait paintings are commissioned as gifts, and this art work is no different, as it was destined to be a Christmas gift. It was a joy to paint, and I hope the recipients were equally as joyful to receive it.
